SCOPE

Water Bar and Proofex
Subgrade Waterproofing

ABOUT

The level crossing removal project at Bentleigh and McKinnon stations in Melbourne was completed in 2016. These level crossings were some of Melbourne’s worst, with boom gates down for up to 45 minutes in the 2-hour morning peak, causing frustration, distress and delay for tens of thousands of motorists.

IMPLEMENTATION

CPR Services was engaged to install 7 kilometres of Sika Swell and 2 kilometres of Proofex membrane and Back Stop Waterbar to both Bentleigh and McKinnon Stations on behalf of John Holland for Metro Trains.
This was achieved in a 10 day window as part of a greater 37 day occupation. CPR had 24 personnel onsite on 12 hour rolling shifts, 24 hours per day.
CPR achieved our outcome on time.
