ABOUT

Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL) is one of the largest alumina refineries in Australia. Their refinery is located in the city of Gladstone, Queensland where their operations include a wharf and storage facility on South Trees Island.

IMPLEMENTATION

CPR Services’ scope of works on the QAL jetty refurbishment was primarily concrete repair.
CPR employed our specially developed gunite system, which has been developed for reduced dust emissions and low rebound.
Works were undertaken on specialised access systems over water, with containment measures in place to minimise environmental impacts.
All works were completed on time with a high level of quality and to the satisfaction of our client.
