The Watsonia Bridge Eliminator Waterproofing Project forms
part of the M80 Ring Road Upgrade, a major infrastructure
project improving traffic flow and connectivity across
Melbourne’s northern area, and part of the North East link
connection.

IMPLEMENTATION

CPR Services were engaged by Acciona to deliver specialist
waterproofing works to the new bridge structure. A 6-person
team assisted to facilitate the mixing of product, operation of
pumps, maintaining lines and hoses, spraying material and
quality testing.
The project involved the application of approximately 4,490m2
of GCP Eliminator spray-applied waterproofing membrane, along with 548Lm of reinforcing scrim applied over joints.

CPR successfully delivered a high performance, fully bonded
waterproofing membrane system to provide long term asset
protection to the new bridge structure.
